Welcome to the Military Nutrition Portal!
The Military Nutrition Portal provides access to research collections in furtherance of an ongoing effort to
provide for the dietary and nutritional needs of warfighters across all branches of the United States military. From its beginning as a repository of historically important and often unique documents of interest to historians and military researchers, the Military Nutrition Portal’s mission has been expanded to provide access to the most current research abstracts and documents on nutrition and nutrition-related issues, as well as nutrition and nutrition-related grants and programs of interest to scientists and dieticians. Within this site the researcher will also find information on other nutrition researchers, their research interests, and publications. Additionally, the site contains narrative documentation of the history of US military nutrition efforts, brief biographies of a number of historically important military nutrition researchers, and notes on a number of topics that have interested military nutrition researchers over the years.
